When you lose/find an animal first thing...get fliers up in the location found with your number, then take the animal by a vet's office to be scanned for a microchip. Check inside/outside of collar for written number. Get a flier up at the pound, found/lost ad on Craigslist, in newspaper (free), and with Humane Society. Post on every social media site you can find, especially those focused on lost/found pets in your area.VOLUNTEER
